Axele on-the-job

At Axians, we believe in technology with a human touch. With Axele on-the-job, we not only bring digital efficiency to companies like AQUALEX, but we also strengthen inclusive work models. This project is a perfect example of how we develop solutions with a true impact through an outside-in approach.

Digital support for inclusive collaboration

AQUALEX, a leading provider of innovative water solutions, collaborates with WAAK, a social enterprise that creates employment opportunities for people distanced from the labor market. Together, they work on assembling water taps, with Axele on-the-job playing a crucial role as a digital guide in this process. This intuitive tool ensures smooth knowledge transfer and support, allowing WAAK employees to work independently and efficiently.

The customer needed a solution that simplifies processes and is accessible to all employees. “There are many different models, each with their own specifications. It’s hard to stay up to date with all the technical details, which is why we needed a tool that brings everything together in an accessible and understandable way for our employees,” explains Edouard Vanrenterghem, Operations Manager at AQUALEX.

We use Axele on-the-job in every stage of our production line: from picking to assembly and packing, even inspection of the goods.

Innovation with a human touch

“There are several possible applications for Axele on-the-job, with four use cases being the most common: guidance, inspection, training, and troubleshooting,” says Jef De Clerck, Sales Engineer at Axians.
Through our outside-in approach, we explored the real needs and discovered the demand for a user-friendly digital system for technical instructions. Axele on-the-job offers the perfect solution by delivering an accessible tool that increases efficiency and supports employees in their daily tasks.

With Axele on-the-job, we prove that digitalization goes beyond efficiency alone: it connects people and technology. In doing so, we create sustainable solutions that move both companies and their employees forward.

The simplicity of the tool allows us to quickly input and adjust instructions, enabling us to respond promptly. This provides a degree of independence in assembling products for our employees, making the work enjoyable for everyone.
